Q:In your experience, are artistic employers willing to accept interns who may not be totally experienced, yet passionate & willing to learn, vs people who have the tech skills yet are personably not as warm? Artists need to be good to get to their goal, but perhaps for the weaker, will their desire to learn and become better *on the job* be recognized too?

At Disney, we actually never meet our applicants, so they are chosen solely on their work. You can get the experience you are talking about by perhaps starting as a non artists position like a Production Assistant and then learning from the artists at the studio and then trying to get an an artist job?
